פדיה

פְּדִיָּה, פְּדִיָּיהf. (preced.) redemption. Bekh.12b (ref. to Num. 18:15) לפ׳ הקשיתיווכ׳ (the text) put it (the first-born ass) on an equal footing (with the first-born son) with regard to the duty of redemption, but to nothing else (any details of the law).
